I developed lactose intolerance later in life, at the age of 19 or 20 years. When I was 16 I had an extreme eating disorder. My intolerance have caused this?

Good question. This is not entirely impossible, an eating disorder brought her lactose intolerance but may depend on what type of eating disorder have. If bingeing and purging or laxative abuse, the microvilli have been disturbed in the abdomen. The microvilli are responsible for the absorption of nutrients from food. When damaged, it can often no longer sensitive to different foods that you have no problem with that is, before (, lactose, gluten, etc..)
I do not think so, but lactose intolerance is an allergy differebt lil, but may now appear
