I am new to overclocking cpu's, so can you tell me how to overclock my core 2 quad if u know how(680i mobo)? - zalman am

The board came with a CD that had the software for overclocking, but couldnt install (Vista 64-bit). How can you tell me how my system BIOS overclock? Step by step, please, if you can, I've never done before. Oh, and I try to overclock to 3 GHz.

I have a ton of cooling (cool), Zalman CPU fan, the Antec Nine Hundred case and its many fans, and I am paste Arctic Silver on the CPU.
